Our History
Golden Years was established in 1990 by Majorie Ahern. The Ahern family ran Golden Years for over 20 years before retiring and selling the business to the current owners lead by Nicole Adams. Nicole had a vision and a passion to provide a place for seniors to live where they would feel safe, comfortable and cared for. The Ahern family saw and felt Nicole's vision and passion and knew Golden Years would be in good hands. With the help from Karen, and Michael who shared the same vision and passion as Nicole they bought Golden Years in April, 2012.

Our mission is to provide a superior caring and compassionate environment with all the comforts of home. Our size allows us to treat each person as an individual, meeting their own particular needs.
We will fulfill our mission by assuring that our facility is safe and well maintained, with the added security of a dedicated, professional staff that is trained in meeting the needs of each of our residents.
Meet the Owner
- Nicole M. Adams, RN
Administrator Nicole brings to the table many years as a dedicated, compassionate nurse supervisor with proven management abilities, care plan implementation, and definitive strengths in resident assessment, and team coordination. She has a reputation for being extremely organized, highly attentive to clinical and administrative details, and is proactive in the delivery of quality care. She understands the importance of strategically directing, overseeing, and coordinating shift operations to sustain efficiency levels and ensure the health and well being of all residents.
- Karen Adams
Activities Director Karen has been a dedicated school counselor and physical education teacher for over 17 years. Her experience in the classroom easily transfers her strengths to organizing large group activities and implementing strategies that address social-emotional needs of this demographic. She creates a safe and healthy environment for the elderly by coordinating age-appropriate, high interest social activities.
